November 2023: What’s New at BentoBox?

The last month of the year is one of the busiest for restaurants. Here are two changes that will help you communicate better with your website visitors and support the increase in holiday catering.

1. Diner Sign-Up.  

Diner Sign-Up Overlays is a new feature that creates a popup on your website and allows you to promote a specific event, offer email promo codes, announce news, and more. We have created three alert types: Promotions, Announcements, and Custom alerts.

• Promotion Overlay: Provide customers with a promotional code in exchange for their email address. This helps build your diner database.

• Announcement Overlay: Communicate announcements directly to your customers like an upcoming event, special menu, or deadline to order holiday catering.

• Custom Overlay: Design a popup from scratch that will appear on your website based on your configurations. You can decide on which pages of the website the popup will appear as well as how often it is displayed.

2. Clover Catering Integration.  

This is a new feature for customers using the Clover POS integration with BentoBox Pre-Order & Catering. Your menu items from Clover will now sync with BentoBox and orders can be printed automatically or manually within your Clover POS system. Reporting is centralized, too.
